Robert Taylor and his wife created a lot of spectator interest at the University football game and, according to Bob Marvin of Beatrice who was seated near the actor, "everybody stood up to look."
Our family had a similar experience a few years ago when we attended motorcycle races in Los Angeles. Lee Marvin, at that time of "M-Squad," was seated in front of us.
The actor is a motorcycle enthusiast. He didn't attract the attention of spectators like Mr. Taylor, perhaps, because his attendance at those type of races was not uncommon.
He was friendly to the folks who did say hello to him and appeared pleased to sign autographs. Publicity is the heart of show business.

Ferguson was named for Chief Robinson's successor, but the change was changed again and the Nebraska City man will stay put untill July when his tour will be completed.
The Nebraska City chief has 10 years of service in the Navy and plans to "ship" again with hopes of being assigned to Pearl Harbor, considered by all sailors as "choice duty."
Understand the Chamber's public relations and tourism committee had to turn down a caravan of trailers and campers who wanted to spend two days and nights at Nebraska City.
Nebraska City just does not have facilities for 3,000 overnight travelers, the committee said, but thanks for inquiring.
These trailer and camper travelers move in very large numbers. They have been featured in newspapers and magazines for their combined trips.
